Bridging science and policy to tackle pollution in our oceans.

What I Bring

I hold an MSc in Arctic Marine Ecology with a focus on ecotoxicology, developed through research on pollutants in glaucous gulls in collaboration with the Norwegian Polar Institute. This work included field experience in Ny-Ålesund, as well as data analysis in R and contribution to international monitoring initiatives like SEAPOP and SEATRACK.
Currently, at GRID-Arendal, I lead and support projects addressing marine litter, plastic pollution, and waste management. My role spans project coordination, report development, stakeholder engagement, and science communication, working closely with partners like UNEP.

My Focus Areas

In My Own Words

"Whether collecting seabird samples in the Arctic or coordinating global reports on plastic pollution, I’m driven by a deep respect for marine ecosystems and a desire to turn knowledge into action that supports both nature and society."
