Common Jellyfish (Aurelia aurita), Rhodolith Reef, Kongsfjord, Finnmark, Northern Norway
Description
A shallow sublittoral reef that is moderately current exposed; in high summer (early August) the water is green and full of nutrients; common jellyfish (Aurelia aurita) are a feast for plumose anemones (Metridium senile) and for sea dahlias (Urticina sp).
