World Seagrass Conference 2022: Putting West Africa on the global seagrass map

The World Seagrass Conference / 14th Annual International Seagrass
Biology Workshop took place in Annapolis, Maryland from August 8-12,
2022.

Throughout the week, representatives from the ResilienSEA (‘Resilient
Seagrasses’) project presented on the distribution of seagrass meadows
in West Africa – a previously underrepresented region in terms of
seagrass research. WSC attendees share their thoughts about the progress
being made in West Africa to monitor and map seagrasses.
