Brent Goose days are every year celebrated on the Wadden Sea Islands

Every year the island communities together with the national park service and conservation NGOs are celebrating "Brent goose days" (Ringelganstage) in the Wadden Sea national park of Schleswig-Holstein. It symbolizes how local communities became friends with the national park and how a win-win for tourism and conservation is achieved. The Wadden Sea has become an example of Linking Tourism & Conservation (LT&C-Example).
