Empowering communities in natural resources governance with grounded experience and global perspective.
What I Bring
My background combines practical fieldwork and science-based research with strategic project management. Prior to joining GRID-Arendal, I worked with organisations such as the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the WorldFish Center, engaging in initiatives that tackled climate change impacts, supported sustainable fisheries, and strengthened local governance systems. These experiences have shaped my understanding of the intricate ties between communities and natural resources, and the importance of inclusive, effective governance.
My Focus Areas
In My Own Words
The sea remains one of the last frontiers of freedom, placing a profound shared responsibility on all of us. The nature surrounding us is more than just a resource, it is a space of culture, livelihood, and identity. Strengthening the connection between communities and natural resources is a powerful catalyst for sustainable development and the fight against environmental crimes.
