With over 25 years of experience across civil society, academia, and legislative sectors, I bring an interdisciplinary perspective to marine science, conservation, and policy. Having played a key role in the early uptake of blue carbon, I’ve spent the past 15 years helping advance it from the margins to the mainstream of global climate and development agendas. I work at the interface of scientific research, policy development, and market mechanisms to support the integration of blue carbon into climate and conservation strategies.
